Dude, locking the car from the inside does NOT stop the FOB signal from broadcasting – which is what thieves need.

When i bought my buick it had 2 keys, one worked one didn't. I bought 2 new keys, had them cut correctly and replaced the batteries in the old key that didn't work, made sure all was good and reprogrammed all 4 keys, per YouTube. I have a TBI so my friend of many years that i trust has one, there is one at home and i have 2 sets… and if i am having a mental lapse… i just "call Barry" and never need a locksmith… and if not i call AAA they open the car and i have a hidden key.
I miss the old keys. They are way to fucjing expensive for no reason. And yku gotta jeep spending money on battery

My car won’t allow programming of a new key unless you have the old key also
On the Key-less ignition: most newer models use "rolling codes", meaning when you press the button, it's a different code every time.
Not so easy as just recording the code that was broadcast once.

Here is a car key tip DUMB NUTS, immobiliser keys are expensive asfk, take one apart, take the chip off from it, glue it on your key lock where is hiden way, and now you can use any regular key with no chip on it. PRESTO DUMB NUTS 👌👌👌👌👌😏😏😏😏

I have a 22 super duty. Hidden deep inside the center council is a place to keep your key fob. Then you access the truck with the door key pad. How will that affect car thieves?

My Mercedes 2016 SLK300 only locks the passenger door when I push the car door lock button. So need to use the RFid system.

Whenever you go on a family road trip hundreds of miles from home BOTH keys should go. What if you & significant other go from Tenn to RI n you lose the one and only key?
You can turn off the Toyota keyless fobs RFID broadcast by holding down the lock button and pressing the unlock button. To turn the fob back on press either the lock or unlock button.
My Honda has auto lock so once the key is away from the car it locks itself. No need to press the key and send the signal.
