  1. You know aluminum is drillable, right? Its also meltable. All that is, is a glorified puck lock with a guard. Sure, the steel is good quality. But the melting temp for aluminum is fairly low, so it really would only take a couple mins to steal your trailer.

  2. $200!?! I think you can get wheel locks under $20 a piece! One of those on each tire I would think would be all the discouragement a thief would need! Yeah, you could always change a tire, but are you going to change four tires? You could cut them off, but are you really going to take the time to cut four of those wheel locks off carefully to not cut up the tire? Too much noise and too much time for any opportunistic Thief to bother with!

  3. Those bolts holding your safety chains to the tongue aren't much of a deterrent. I do have two of their locks on my car trailer. One for the bulldog coupler and one for the channel mount for the coupler. My chain hooks don't fit in the coupler lock so I have to do something else.

  4. To add an extra layer u could try to have an extra lock and pull the chains behind the frontwheel pole(idk if u can reach that hard to see on camera) and then hook the lock between both of them, tucking them away and locked, unusable in any way for towing. When it comes to the lock well the sky is the limit but if it’s one that eats simple anglegrinders it should be good enough.
