  1. In aikido, you always dodge the attack by stepping outside, very logical. Or you enter the attack to get close to the opponent so he can't punch you but you can unbalance him backwards or sideways and throw him down.

  2. This is bullshit. Any video that contains slow, hypothetical demonstrations will never work in real life. There's no substitute for training, sparring, practicing with the gloves. Don't be gullible. Do the work. P.s. he gave himself away when he said "wing Chun"….

  3. Wasn't it an oriental master who said communication is the best defence [paraphrased] I can't remember the exact quote. I've been a security guard for 18 years. I've had a few people dancing around in front of me fists up. No one has ever taken a swing at me. Self confidence and communication definitely helps.

  4. This could really work… If the attacker was half your size and would throw punches like a muppet. Why do they always use attackers half their size??? What a misleading title!

  5. Amateur question: Is there a particular martial arts class you’d recommend to learn the methods within this video. I am 45 and do not wish to be enrolled in a strip mall karate class. I want teach my wife and girls self defense in Las Vegas so any recommendations would be appreciated. Great lessons! 🙏

  6. Nice dancing. Nobody is pulling this under stress. Head butts, elbows knees, eyes, balls, throat.
    Real fights are ugly.
I usually like all your videos. Sorry you have allergies. I do too, it sucks.

  7. there is a flaw though, someone with no training will not be stepping or doing anything in proper timing because they do not even know what it looks like.. a jab a cros a hay maker.. so if you are not keen to seeing it you will not succeed even with simple 101 tips

  8. Really like this! Very close to my boxing, wing chun, judo, chin-na, and bbj training. Also practised footwork, cardio, thousands of hours of repetition, and trying to break the technique to make sure it works with multiple attackers, shoot fighters, in tight areas, and different terrain will shut up all the naysayers in the comments below. This is solid stuff. Thank you Kevin Goat!!!!!!

  9. First rule of street fights is don't get into street fights, you never know what the guy has in his pocket or what his buddy has.
If you can't avoid the fight it is critical that you control the distance between you and your opponent. Use jabs and your feet to stay out of striking range until you are ready to strike. If you can get your opponent to lunge at you it gives you more time to react, the punch is less accurate, and it's typically a weaker strike.
Always assume there is a punch coming after the first one is deflected or ducked, plan accordingly.
    Never slip inside.
The strike that is coming is typically followed by weight and momentum, have a good stance so you can avoid being thrown off balance.
Mobility is your savior, use it.
Don't go to the ground if you can avoid it.

    edit:
I had to add what is arguably the most important rule of street fights: there are no rules. Kick, punch, headbutt, low blow, eye gouges, knee kicks, elbow strikes, throat strikes, etc… all fair game.
