I remember a car in the workshop where I did a intern that I got the Keys of a peugeot 404 I believe and it got a Key for the Doors and trunk and a other one just for the ignition
Gotta love locking yourself out of a car. My 1987 Starlet has locks like these and its happened like 5 times in my first few months of owning it
“Did I just Lock the keys in there?”
Yes, yes you did.
Fonzie thump the handle. It’ll come open.

When I first bought my 77 f100 at 19 I was like why thinking are their 2 keys
I’m familiar with that trick…
Lmao. Thats not good 😐
How you going to Drive it now
Let's talk about how few keys they made. I have an 85 ram charger, 87 wrangler, and used to own a 72 d100. All used the same key. Am I just that lucky? My dad's 93 d250 key opened a woman dodge spirit once. A woman had locked her keys in her running car at the grocery store in the pouring rain. They only cut a couple keys per year if you look at the master sets.
That went on decades longer than the 60s
Over the years, my old cars locks have been changed one at a time. I have five keys for my car. One each for the ignition, two for the two doors, the trunk and the glove box.
My 94 Chevy 1500 had 2 keys. One for the door and one for the ignition.
Surprisingly my 73 Pontiac doesn’t do that. I’m going to double check next time!
Wait
Matching keys?
My door is one
Passenger another
Truck nope.. don't have one
And starter.. that one I have…
So.. can't lock the old Scout
I learned to drive in a 1966 4 door Impala that was white with green interior, that was in 2006. Thank you for this it brought back good memories and the one bad memory of my jack punching a whole in the frame under the drivers side fender, buy buy 1966 Impala because I was 16 and stupid with good parents. If I knew what I know now It would be in my garage.
Mopars you had to lock the door with the key
I feel so old. This was all common knowledge and now there are educational videos about it.
My favorite channel…..
