not surprised. Hertz always cheats me when I rent a car with them.
I would never rent from Hertz again. I was 5 minutes late returning a car that I rented from them and they charged me for an entire day. They are an awful company to rent from.
I was a quality Assurance in the Navy on aircraft , but, when I retired from the Navy I couldn't get a job in the US for Quality Assurance even with a degree in it!

What this means that Telsa maybe affordable it probably unriable and often breakdown and if its under reapir you'll probably won't get it back until years later 😅 hence why herts went bankrupt because of those repairs. ROI with it comes to rental and owning the car is a big negative, your better off owning the shares instead 😅

that story about the gears being too soft is just the stupidest thing that can happen, I'm a retired machinist and it takes hardly any time at all to check the hardness, you take a little gauge and touch it in a few places and you get the hardness reading in no time at all, the only way this could happen is the dummies at GM didn't want to waste the time and trusted the supplier, how did that work out? the assembly line for the gear boxes , all they had to do was take the reading for 2 seconds before putting them in, the inspection time is figured in to the process , they deserve to lose their customers, incompetence of the highest level
