Meanwhile VW group made the polo in such a manner from 2009/2011 that you can’t even open any door on your car WITH the key if your battery is dead. Neither can you open it from inside when the battery goes flat and the car is locked.
Back in my day it was just a long cable to yhr trunk attached to a lever…. Why does the battery being dead determine how easily i can get into the trunk?
