Well, abc news did a video on lock smiths in a way it was kind of funny. The locksmith would come out with a drill actually damage the front doors to gain access where the home owner lock themselves out of their home and they were charging upwards of $250… Something you could have done yourself. The homeowner was on their own to replace the lock and was out $250.
I love how a lot of people say "I'd just bash in the door:" or "Sledgehammer works better…." but they don't realize that sometimes you have to be discreet
i charge 50 and can open it in less than 5 sec with a slim jim
Some people hear but they don't listen. Loved the video and the irony was cool also.
Would like to know where I can get a hold of some keys like that?
Good vid. Thanks.
Locksmiths charge up to $70 to do that. Useful skill for sure.
That is a great skill and a neat set of tools.
LOL, It would be fun to come up with some sort of graphics for it. But not enough time, patience, or ego to make it happen. Thanks for watching.
Guerrillageek going 10-10 T Shirts ?
great skill to have.
Definitely a good skill to pick up. For some reason, I can only pick locks if I'm under pressure. I once locked my keys in my shed and really needed to get them out; managed to pick the lock on the first try. If I tryto pick the same lock for practice/fun I can't do it.
Picking the door on a cop car. Most excellent.
Those other keys are for warded locks. I got into lock picking a few years back as an adjunct to my investigations in law enforcement . Dept got tired of hiring locksmiths and sent some of us to school. A good place to get info is ITS tactical or On-point tactical. great video.
agreed 100%. Lockpicking is a useful skill!
