  1. Too much shingle roofs in US. Suppose there's a reason for that. To me the best roofs are slate. Slating his a skill and the end product is traditional, robust and pleasing to look at. Hats off though! Not everyday you see a woman bustin her butt on a roof

  2. I once was doorknocking about six years ago and had a man meet me at the door cussing and spitting he was yelling so loud. He pointed a double barrel shotgun in my face and told me he would kill me if I didn’t leave. I quickly let him know I was not trying to do anything but help him but I would definitely leave. He then cocked the gun. I ran to my truck.
Another time I was doorknocking around the same time/same storm and a man told me he was going to release his German Shepherd dogs on me if I didn’t leave. I literally have the heart in this business just to help people never to take advantage of them or harm them.It really hurt my feelings people felt so defensive over a roof sales rep trying to help them. I never door knocked again. Of course now 6 years later I own my own company and we do not solicit at all.
I learned about a month later a man/door knocker was shot in the butt after knocking close to that city.

  3. I’m Guatemalan 27 years old I follow her and Dmitry. I had a nail salon when I was 23 years old. After my associates in Architecture I decided to sell it and open a roofing company. Now I’m 27 with a roofing company and I never go to the roof….I only send my crew (siblings) to do estimates Etc…..Yes I’m the owner and I have never been in a roof 😳 I work from home ….I lived alone since I was 16 with my brother. I had 92k TikTok followers and my 1st client came from TikTok! Yes it’s crazy! Then Angie’s List Google etc…….Times have changed clearly! @rosa.gupta.roofer

  4. Good interview. Love that focus is shifting to safety. Thanks for bringing attention to the ladies becoming lions of our industry. Glad she’s learned to protect herself from creeps. Those guys better learn to be better or be gone.
