Dumbest idea that manufactures place a press button to start to a modern car and I knew it right from the start. These car manufacturers are dumb. Big dumb dumbs. 1,000,000,000% dumb with no brain. They should have rethink better before making a car.

My friends all think its so funny that I use a old school steering wheel lock (Club) on my 2022 but this exactly why
If you are worried about keyless car theft, get savvy and learn where the Starter Relay is located and remove it overnight ,to prevent your car from being started.

The push start cars
All the manufacturers have to do is add one more button on the key fob that will turn on and off the key fob transmitter, a no brainer.

Honda keyfobs are the worse, you don't need a big a$$ tablet just a portapack and replay attack works lol All Honda's from 2010 to now are screwed.
They are also using large neighborhoods that have one big internet control as a power swapper like RV parks that run off of spectrum

😊General Comment: I am happy to know how the cars were stolen so that I can protect myself. My concern is that those videos will show the thieves how to steal the cars and more thieves will increase☹🥴. Do you know when you believe and obey Jesus, you can call on Jesus for help and God will give you peace and help the authorities locate the thieves, God will also punish the evildoers now or one day God will throw them to hell (Lake of Fire) if the thieves do not repent. Let's go back to a key and a Chapman lock
This never happened until there were keyless entry systems. It used to be they would have to jimmy the door open or break the window or do something else that would likely damage a vehicle. Now they just need some sort device and they use it to get in, often without even making a sound. It used to be that a thief would have to somehow hotwire a car to steal it. Sure remote keyless entry is convenient but it makes vehicles much easier to steal.
Fun fact. This has been going on over in Europe for years… mostly by gangs from the Balkans. They got the tech because most of their criminals are former KGB (equivalent) one Croatian guy was arrested in London and had ties to their secret police. Many say you can use a pouch to block the scan but that’s not really true. Best think is Tin foil but even that’s doesn’t always work.

Manufacturer needs to be sued. This is a fault on their end.. once any car is stolen and especially if the vehicle factory GPS tracking theft system is shut off, the car itself should shut off and light up and scream to alert that it has been stolen.

Our truck was rubbed yesterday night they took extra key fob but battery is not good. We go to dealership to replace but they will be back to steal we are putting cameras in the car to catch thief. Hillsboro Oregon
