  1. If you are using gloves, like mechanix the rigid handle and notches at the top are perfect for capturing the fabric of the gloves for anti slippage. Works well if your gloves have grease or are wet.

The shank to the tip has to be finished, just as any pick does for smooth entry and exit from the keyway.

These were designed for those who wear anti cutting gloves. Police, and Military. The case fits nicely in shoulder, and leg pockets, also in a vest and slips in and out of them easily.

Sparrows should offer more profiles of picks with the glove option, its an awesome design.

  2. Another awesome Wednesday review DALP and, really like the Skeletonised handles, on the Sparrows "Dark Shift" picks too mate 😀👍 Really appreciate you sharing this set with us all buddy, and huge congratulations to you, for hitting over 700+ subscribers now too 😃👏 A fantastic achievement my friend and, very well deserved mate 😁👏👏👏 Hope you have a great rest of your week buddy, and here's to many more amazing achievements to come – Super video as always, and very well done again 😎👏👏👏

  3. Nice review! This set was what converted me to Sparrows! I thought Southord were good, but after using these picks I never looked back! The steel is ridiculously strong, the profile designs are great and their ranges are ideal for someone wanting to blow a load of cash on tonnes of picks 😂

I completely agree with you though, having improved since I got them, I realise it really could do with a deeper hook. I think they could probably scrap either the Sandman or the double peak if they had to replace one, or just add an extra pick, there’s enough room!

Would absolutely recommend these to anyone wanting something different too, they really opened my eyes (and a couple of locks!) 😂🥚

  4. I have this set too. I love it. I also have the expansion kit which adds a knife tool, some jiggle tools, and a rather odd hybrid pick. Still I would recommend the expansion kit as well. I also add the tubler lock wrench, and a couple of bottom of the keyway tensioners for a pretty good EDC kit. I know some people will say don't EDC but I am an IT guy and have occasion to open cabinets and rack servers for clients when they lose their keys. Though truth is most are the standard keys that I keep in my bag it is always fun to pick instead.

  5. I have this set and it is my everyday carry. It is brilliant and I love it. I bought one about 4 months ago and lost it 3 weeks later. So I got another set. Awesome set only thing I would change is the sandman pick as I haven’t really used it much.
