I hate to break it to break it to you but LPL isn't Marc/Mark Tobias.
This video is completely wrong. If I were the one who put this up I'd take it down the moment I found out that I was wrong. The fact that it's still up says something about the guy who posted it in the first place (draw your own conclusions).
As for the LPL it's obvious that he likes to keep his identity a secret. Otherwise he'd spend countless hours at airports, restaurants, grocery stores and any other places one can think of, signing people's favorite locks and demonstrating how quickly he can open them.

you can get a good set of name brand picks for about $30-$40 depending on where you look
you can even get visual aid locks (cutaway/acrylic) for anywhere from $6-$50

Duh. Everyone knows his surname actually is LockPickingLawyer because he's referred to Mrs LockPickingLaywer so many times in his videos.
I've seen it all. Now I'm getting entire videos dedicated to recommending other videos.
If you're REALLY curious what LPL looks like there is at least one video where there are detailed reflections in the objects he's working on and if you were enough of a weirdo you could pretty easily get a somewhat decent picture of the guy. Can we just let him have his anoninimity/celebrity?

Very respectful and smart way to try and get your channel to pop up in a search for the lpl. Sneak some traffic from his followers out the deal and be a nice person giving a shout out at the same time. Not bashing you for it at all (as I said it was smart and respectful) or the following I promise, but probably shouldn't of said a name if you didn't know for sure what it was it.

These are brilliant videos, very entertaining, even if lock picking isn't your 'thing' I highly recommend watching a few, they're very short, (usually about 3 minutes) and presented with wit & eloquence – and his skills are incredible.

I came across LPL bit by accident when searching bike lock review. Just love his work, im not really into security or doing what he does but the content is soilid and its just joy to watch his mad skills.
