This is just a quick example of one trike that locksmith have, this video will show you how you can make a trap key and make your lock not usable very quickly, and also how you can undo and remove the trap key. Hopefully you will never need to do this, but its a very good way to get your customer to rethink trying to scam you out of payment

There is an easy non-invasive method to simply remove the jam key by extracting it.

If I asked for a job I would pay it ,but I am very vindictive and I bet superglue and other metal weld products would even be trouble for anyone's van , especially if there is a little bit of something in there as well. So I assume this is only used on little old ladies

How can it be vandalism of someone's lock when if they haven't paid then in theory its still your lock .
Actually, these keys can be removed with a piece of fine but sturdy wire… or the right extraction tool.. without taking the lock apart. I've done it dozens of times. If a locksmith ever pulled that trick on me I can guarantee the lawsuit would be a lot higher then whatever he claims the service was worth.
Been a locksmith for 23 years.. next time, file the key thinner, only file 1 cut and head the bow attached.. you can use a pick to push up one pin and pull it out after they pay. I had a non payer years ago.. i had installed IC system on an apartment building, I went around and changed the cores on the exterior doors. Over 100 tenants could not get in, after months of not paying me… i got paid that night.
I have twice in the past, for customers who just wouldn't bother to pay, cut about ⅜" off the end of a blank, filed it down so that I could remove it easily when called to do so, then put it in the lock.
If it's far enough in so it's not visible, the customer doesn't usually realise there's something in there, they just call me and tell me that the lock I've fitted has gone wrong.
I tell them that there's no guarantee on the lock, because the guarantee only applies when the lock is paid for. It's surprising how quickly both the customers I've done this with paid up, especially the management training company, who had a course on that morning and had about a dozen people waiting outside in the cold when I got there..!

Easy way to keep locksmith out of your house after not paying put your two trained guard dogs allowed to roam around and your horse thar hates men in the front yard. Good luck trying to disable my lock. And i wont get in trouble because my dogs are trained and guard registered and i have many very clear NO TRESPASS signs everywhere. You might get on property but youll need me and the police with tazers and cuffs to get you off. And i wont drop any charges for criminal tresspass and any damafe youve done to my property. And if youve injured my working dogs that are special trained and registered here in the uk its straight to jail with no pass out no bonds and no parole. .

Minimum sentence for those charges by the way is 10-15 for criminnal tresspass (never parole) , 20yrs for special trained animal abuse (never paroled) and threatening behaviour as noone gave you permission to be on property again depending on judge and because im a female who has been abused and had abusers jailed for life without parole (youll be the next one have fun with the others. Another friend there will teach you manners about being around women. Hes a blackbelt. So you have no chance if he dont get you my other friends in there will (going home in a box).

You can also use Motel Key made by Sparrow if you want to block a lock but not destroy it. It's just enough for making the person understand.

What makes people mad is when they're locked out and the locksmith shows up and pops the door open in 15 seconds, particularly with a snap gun, and then wants $50 to $75.

No what you do is go to a shady neighborhood and hand out a box full of their keys and let nature take it's course.

You disassemble the lock,remove the pin,remove the key,reassemble the lock(including the pins)
Also I know how to remove the key if something like this video happens
I made a lock that I rekey and if you use the new key the lock works but if someone attempts to use the old key the old key will get trapped in the lock

It's called a kill key, and can be extracted easy enough
maybe where you live that works.. here it's malicious destruction of property and you go to jail for a short while or the customer calls you back and puts a bullet in you in which case you'll probably go in the ground permanently … best to let the courts decide
