only issue with sea of thieves now is, there's players who only attack others and steal their stuff and dont do any of the quests because, why go search for treasure underground or fight monsters when you can simply just kill the players after they do it for you? the pvp servers are very brutal and not fun, more fun to do the pve ones as its calmer and such

Stealing from other people in a multiplayer game is a pretty good way for you to get in trouble, and there are a few reasons why. One: you could end up pissing someone off that will make sure you regret what you did like a person with a bunch of TNT in the game Minecraft. And two: you could end up stealing from an Admin who WILL ban you.

I haven’t played Conan exiles in a long time but it used to be that when you logged off your character was still in the world. So if you logged off in the middle of a field the character just laid down on the spot. Monsters and other players could still kill you and loot your corpse.
I still remember a player who kept getting robbed even though it was not supposed to be a pvp server. He made a base in secret and over the course of a few weeks he gathered everything he needed to summon an avatar of his god. He then destroyed the base of the people that robbed him while most of them were offline. Then looted all the corpses and stole everything as revenge.
Eve online would top this list easily 😂

I don't know if it's still possible, or if other measures have been put in place against it — I've never had a Nintendo Switch Online account, so I've been neither a victim nor a perpetrator, but I've heard of people stealing from the islands they visit. Very frowned upon, but possible.
